Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as an Administrative & Accounting Assistant in Everett, WA! In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization’s administrative and financial functions. Job Specifications:
- **Job Type:** Full-Time
- **Location:** Everett, WA
- **Pay Rate:** $28-$30/hour (DOE)
- **Shift:** Day Shift
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Type correspondence and documentation at a minimum of 40 words per minute.
- Take and transcribe dictation with accuracy and efficiency.
- Answer, screen, and route phone calls professionally.
- Pay bills and write checks across multiple accounts.
- Manage QuickBooks for the LLC, trusts, and nonprofit organization.
- Maintain and update financial spreadsheets.
- Organize and file documents, both digitally and physically (including banker boxes).
- Monitor and track incoming and outgoing bills.
- Provide administrative and light bookkeeping support for grant tracking and reporting.
- Assist with setup, scheduling, and ongoing monitoring of a podcast.
- Support special projects and events for the 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
- Help with the setup and maintenance of LLC and trust-related documentation and expenses.
- Perform ad hoc personal assistant tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven administrative experience with minimal supervision.
- Strong QuickBooks and Excel/Google Sheets skills required.
- Familiarity with nonprofit operations, grant support, or trust management is a plus.
- Experience in light accounting or bookkeeping strongly preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable with technology, audio recording tools, and remote collaboration tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
