The Relationship Profitability Senior Manager leads a team responsible for the stability and performance of profitability systems and pricing platforms across Wholesale and Consumer banking. Reporting to the Head of Client Profitability, this role ensures profitability data is timely, accurate, and actionable, while overseeing platform enhancements, issue resolution, and technical releases. Success requires deep knowledge of banking products, Agile platform management, and the ability to lead technical teams to deliver high-impact analytics.

+ Support the Head of Client Profitability and other Corporate Finance & Strategy (CFS) teams in leveraging data to inform business strategy.
+ Provide research, analysis, and project management support to meet business and financial objectives.
+ Translate business requirements and strategy into data assets and analytical output.
+ Lead a team of data, analytics, and product specialists with a diverse set of backgrounds and abilities in support of existing profitability platforms.
+ Lead business validation efforts for new technical features and products, including designing tests, troubleshooting data or other system issues, and demonstrate upstream & downstream impacts.
+ Effectively communicate status, challenges, and priorities to CFS leadership and key business stakeholders.
+ Serve as subject matter expert for the team to translate Wholesale and Consumer business processes into measurable profitability metrics that conform with existing platforms and data models.
+ Regularly engage with product teams, strategy, and enablement teammates within the Line of Business.
+ Demonstrate mastery of new initiatives, products, hierarchy changes, and any new technology supporting such changes.
+ Coordinate the development process with Enterprise Technology teammates.
+ Determine the most effective validation strategies to test and track results while determining retest strategies, timing, and ultimate impact to end users within the support businesses.
+ Work closely with technology partners and Lines of Business to manage expectations and ensure timely and efficient execution of all production reporting, SLAs, and related tasks.
+ Engage with strategic technology partners to identify trends across Truist in data tools, platforms, and integration approaches and make recommendations to the Head of Client Profitability
+ Work with cross-functional stakeholders to understand critical business needs and direct and develop team to effectively utilize available data to accurately inform executive and senior leadership on ad hoc and regular initiatives, recommend improvements, and advise gaps in the business. Identify and solve problems with a data-driven approach.
+ Manage multiple workstreams covering complex products or features simultaneously.
+ Build and maintain short- and long-term roadmaps.
+ Work with other senior leaders to prioritize tasks across multiple platforms with limited resources.
+ Practice clear and effective communication with stakeholders to minimize ambiguity, rework, and maximize time spent in working sessions.
Required Qualifications:

+ 7 to 10 years of banking or financial services experience with direct experience in managing data, reporting, regulatory frameworks, project management, product management, or other strategic roles.
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or similar quantitative or analytical field of study, or equivalent education and related training
+ Demonstrated success managing technology delivery in Agile environments, including backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and cross-functional team coordination.
+ As a senior manager, a candidate should have proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and manage teams, and mentor and develop junior staff, especially those with strong analytical skillsets.
+ Strong communication skills are essential to liaise with other departments such as Enterprise Technology, Finance, Risk, Modeling, and Methodologies.
+ The ideal candidate will have exposure to a wide variety of banking products that include Treasury Solutions, Deposits, Derivatives, Payments, Commercial Loans, Coverage Banking models, and Consumer & Retail banking.
+ Awareness of financial modeling and analysis concepts such as ROE, Expected Loss, Capital, and Funds Transfer Pricing
+ Familiarity with software tools and platforms used in banking such as Salesforce.
+ Experience with data visualization tools and techniques to present complex profitability data to stakeholders.
+ Build and grow a team of diverse talents to support Client Profitability Data & Analytics capabilities across Truist.
+ Guide teammates in developing the necessary technical skills to achieve strategic results
+ Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships, display organizational savvy, leverage networks, and value diversity; drive cross-functional team spread across the enterprise
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree in finance, business, management, statistics, or related field, advanced certification such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Securities licensing, or equivalent education and related training.
+ Experience in commercial or investment banking
+ Prior knowledge of profitability reporting and metrics
