**Description:** You will be a Quality Engineer / CMM Programmer responsible for performing CMM programming, quality planning, and preventative maintenance protocols to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our inspection equipment\. Our team is committed to delivering high\-quality products, and you will play a critical role in verifying that our products meet the required specifications and standards\.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Quality Engineer / CMM Programmer, you will be responsible for:
• Perform CMM Programming/Quality Planning
• Ability to attend and complete all required training/certification courses associated with CMM software / operation
• Preventative maintenance protocols, CMM calibration and CMM verification\.
• CMM program validation\.
• Interpret prints, sketch sheets, schematics, specifications, PWI’s, inspection characteristics, II’s, MI’s, QA procedures, and BPS\.
• Understand inspection equipment including but not limited to: Portable, gantry, vision and laser style CMM’s, magnifying glasses, verniers, granite table, squares, micrometer, height gauges, precision gauges \(plug, thread, finish, etc\.\), personal computer\.
• Understanding of the following:
o Machine Processing
o Off\-CMM GD&T
o Inspection Methodologies
• Required to have flexibility in work schedule to support production schedule, includes overtime and off days\.
• Perform First Article Inspections and document within CAV DISCUS\.
• Interact with other Engineering functions and provide feedback on design/process changes and improvements\.
• Provide support for Vendor issues and/or Software Service visits/upgrades through conference calls, on\-site support, or surveillance visits\.
• Participate during internal and external audits as required \(MFC, DCMA, Customer, Registrar\)\.
• Near vision of 20/20 and far vision of 20/50 is required\. This may be achieved with corrective lenses, which then must be used during inspections and tests\. Color perception must be normal if the nature of particular task demands it\.

MUST BE A U\.S\. CITIZEN \- This position is located at a facility that requires special access\. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance\.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to learn skills in areas listed in job description\.
• 4 year technical degree\.
• Knowledge of machining processes and Engineering tools such as AutoCAD, Pro\-E, and/or CREO\.
• Proficient knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14\.5\.
• Knowledge of such tools as SAP, PLM, Microsoft office\.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection and test of manufactured products\.
• Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc\.
• Ability to focus on continual improvement practices using causal analysis tools to drive corrective and preventive actions\.
• Be able to effectively communicate with Customer, Program team and other functional departments\.
• Must be able to multi\-task, meet deadlines and support engineering activities related to special process surveys and supplier issues\. This may require the willingness/ability to travel to support program issues/needs as they arise\.
• Ability to work under only general direction\. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions\.
• Ability to pass visual acuity and color perception exam\.
• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance
• US Citizen\.
Desired Skills:
• Understanding of Configuration Management and control processes\.
• Knowledge of other machining processes and Engineering tools such as Virtek LaserQC, CALYPSO, PCDMIS, and CAV DISCUS
• Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues varying from basic to very complex\.
• Quality Engineering or Supplier Quality experience as well as experience with developing and reviewing Quality Standards, methods, work instructional and procedures for inspection\.
• Strong understanding in AS9100, ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and/or NQA\-1/10CFR50 Appendix 50\.
• Experience with control and disposition of nonconforming material\.
• Project Management, Leadership and Delegation Abilities with strong problem solving skills, corrective action and causal analysis techniques\.
• Knowledge and understanding of critical design attributes and auditing/surveying capabilities\.
• Audit, Process Line Verification and/or Hardware Quality Assessment experience\.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment\.
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
