LM Space seeks a Project Manager to join our mission supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile \(FBM\) program\. For over 60 years, the Fleet Ballistic Missile \(FBM\) team has supported the Navy’s mission to provide affordable and credible strategic defense\. As our part of the Mechanical Ground Support Equipment project management team, the candidate will be the IPT lead for several LE Mechanical Refresh projects\. This will include leading, budgeting, and managing the cost/schedule/technical performance for each assigned Control Account \(CA\) on multiple contract line\-item numbers \(CLINs\)\.
Summary of Key Duties: In this role, you will…
• Effectively manage project performance\.
• Work with partnering organizations \(Engineering, Supply Chain, Shipping/Receiving etc\.\) to ensure all processes are appropriately followed and implemented to ensure smooth product flow throughout the lifecycle
• Identify risks and opportunities to the program Risk & Opportunity Control Board and implement approved mitigation plans
• Support proposal development for future contract years\.
• Provide timely and accurate insight to key program impacts or opportunities to the Senior Manager & the Functional Managers\.
• Support Control Account Managers with monthly VARs / DDMs
• Present status to Navy Partners & Internal Stakeholders\.

Basic Qualifications:
• Project management experience or relevant experience \(planning, finance, contracts, etc\.\)
• Knowledge of program lifecycle
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management
• Must be a U\.S\. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance to support this government contract
• Candidate must have the ability to work in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules\.
• This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written\.
• Ability to work across a multidiscipline teams\.
Desired Skills:
• Previous BOE or Proposal experience\.
• Risk and Opportunity Management experience
• General technical knowledge of Mechanical Ground Support Equipment and / or FBM Program
• Experience with Earned Value Management
• Demonstrated experience in driving complex issues or problems to successful closure
• Masters degree in a related field

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 9x80 every other Friday off
