Regional Director of Neurosciences
Position Purpose:
The Regional Director Neuroscience Services directs the department's activities and resources to ensure alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the department and organization.
What you will do:
• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization
• Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives
• Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives
• Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits
• Meets population specific and all other competencies according to department requirements.
• Promotes a Culture of Safety by adhering to policy, procedures and plans that are in place to prevent workplace injury, violence or adverse outcome to associates and patients.
Minimum requirements:
+ Education: Master’s degree in Nursing, Business or Health Administration required
+ Licensure / Certification: Nursing if applicable
+ Experience: Minimum ten (10) years of experience in service line leadership roles, including management of physician specialty practices.
+ Effective Communication Skills
+ Proven experience including initiating key projects, allocating resources and achieving results
+ Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects concurrently
+ Demonstrates competency in financial analysis and management, outcomes management, service excellence, leadership in an interdisciplinary environment and system thinking
+ Strong analytical, evaluative and problem solving skills to anticipate and resolve a broad range of issues, to create innovative solutions, to independently evaluate situations and to outline ramifications of multiple solutions/options.
