Immediate need for an Assembly Line Coder (ALC) Developer to support a federal client.

Skills and Requirements

Proficiency in IBM Assembler analysis, coding and debugging on a Z OS mainframe environment, assembler addressing modes, data manipulation, macros, job control and experience interfacing ACL with COBOL code and VSAM/QSAM files.

Experience with understand mainframe architectures, the Z OS operating system, job and transaction tools such as JCL and CICS, scheduling and system utilities such as Endevor, Control-M, Software Change Manager, and experience with release management and security access controls. Experience/familiarity with mainframe connectivity options and controls, file transfer tools, networking protocols and MQ messaging services.

Candidates familiar with IRS mainframe systems and operations, as well as IRS data structures such as the IRS Core Record Layout (CRL), related IRS Master Files, DB2 Databases and security and access control are preferred. Experience with Java, object-oriented design, Event Driven Design Kafka Streaming and Cloud Platform connectivity for mainframes.

Experience with development and operations/interoperation with Unisys mainframes and the IBM mainframe platform. null
