Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity Network Engineer to lead the strategic design and oversight of network segmentation initiatives and firewall policy frameworks. This role requires deep technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a strong understanding of automation and compliance in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide network segmentation strategies.

Provide strategic oversight and hands-on guidance for firewall policy design, with a focus on Check Point technologies.

Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to define segmentation models that enhance security posture and operational efficiency.

Evaluate and implement automation tools for firewall policy management, including FireMon and ServiceNow integrations.

Guide and coach technical leads and sub-teams to meet project milestones and service level agreements.

Manage team schedules, ensure sustainability, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Report project and team status to the Project Manager, develop plans to meet performance metrics, and provide regular feedback to team members.

Coordinate with other team leads for requirements gathering, development, testing, and defect resolution.

Lead the development, testing, and support of IT solutions across multiple platforms and technologies.

Skills and Requirements

10+ years of experience in network segmentation design and firewall policy architecture.

Strong knowledge of Check Point firewall technologies and policy design best practices.

Experience with automation tools such as FireMon and ServiceNow.

Familiarity with Splunk for monitoring and reporting

Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and mentoring team members.

Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.

Telecom experience is a plus, but not required. null
