Primary Duties
+ Handle movement of polymer materials from one machine to the next. Ability to move flat material sizes up to 50" x 80" is a must
+ Follows Standard operating procedures for machine settings set by department manager
+ Inspect plates for adherence to quality standards and customer specifications
+ Prepare packages for shipping while attending to special customer requirements
+ Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc
+ Handle multiple jobs in various production stages
+ Adhere to quality control procedures
+ Ability to multitask and work in deadline orientated environment
+ Visual acuity to written material and plate detail
+ Manual coordination and dexterity in handling plates, and films
+ The use of ordinary hand tools, and a strong understanding of various measuring tools and the physical ability to lift is essential, as is a dedication to quality
Requirements
+ Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.
+ Experience and understanding of the flexo plate making process preferred
+ Prior experience in a printing environment is beneficial
+ Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is required
+ Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
+ Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
+ Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs, and develop solutions and/or options.
+ Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment
