Our client, a leader in the food industry, is seeking a Sensory Technician to join their team. As a Sensory Technician, you will be part of the research and development department supporting sensory and consumer product research activities. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Sensory Technician
**Location:** Beloit, WI
Pay Range: $22-25/hr
What's the Job?
+ Assist in the preparation and execution of sensory testing sessions.
+ Prepare and portion food, beverages, and tasting solutions for evaluation.
+ Reinforce best practices for sensory evaluation among panel participants.
+ Maintain and manage inventory of lab essentials, including cups, utensils, food items, and taste chemicals.
+ Ensure the lab is clean, organized, and ready for testing activities.
What's Needed?
+ Prior experience in Sensory Science or Quality Control is preferred.
+ A background in science or food technology.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
+ Willingness to adhere to food safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
