Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join their team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will be part of the healthcare support team, providing essential care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a compassionate nature, and the ability to work effectively in a team, which will align successfully with the organization's mission to deliver high-quality patient care.

**Job Title:** Patient Care Technician (PCT)

**Location:** Dayton, OH

**Pay Range:** $22-$26hr depending on experience.

What's the Job?

+ Provide direct, patient care for assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

+ Assist licensed nurses with pre and post dialysis patient assessments and their documentation.

+ Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters on Dialysis Flow Sheets.

+ Report any significant information or changes in patient condition to the supervisor.

+ Assist with all emergency operational procedures and initiate basic CPR measures when necessary.

What's Needed?

+ High school diploma or G.E.D. required.

+ Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred, but not required.

+ Successful completion of a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis.

+ CPR Certification is required.

+ Education in physical sciences and/or training in laboratory techniques preferred.
