**Work Type:** 12mo contract to hire (strong potential to convert to FTE)

**Location Preference:** Columbus, OH

**Candidate Requirements:** Must be local to Columbus and US Citizen or GC Holder

Job Summary:

This role will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and implement features using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integrations. This is a hands-on development role with a focus on solution design, quality, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Partner with business stakeholders to gather and interpret requirements into technical specifications.

+ Design and develop Salesforce solutions in collaboration with the Solutions Architect.

+ Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using Apex, Visualforce, and LWC.

+ Implement and manage Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP) for system integrations.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain system reliability.

+ Evaluate and recommend solutions using out-of-the-box features, custom code, or AppExchange products.

+ Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, 3-Amigos, etc.).

+ Ensure adherence to QA, change management, and documentation standards.

+ Stay current on Salesforce releases and apply new features where appropriate.

+ Collaborate with internal IT and business partners to align on architecture strategies and roadmap planning.

+ Provide estimates for level of effort and contribute to project planning.

Required Skills & Experience:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

+ 4+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Visualforce, LWC

+ Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, customization, and data modeling

+ Experience building and integrating APIs (REST/SOAP)

+ Familiarity with Salesforce best practices and common design patterns

+ Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, and GitHub

+ Strong communication and collaboration skills, both technical and non-technical

Preferred Certifications:

+ Salesforce Platform Developer I & II

+ Salesforce Certified Administrator

+ Salesforce App Builder

+ Consultant Certifications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud)
