Our client, a leader in technology development, is seeking a Linux System Manager to join their team. As a Linux System Manager, you will be part of the Administration team supporting Micron's Engineering design teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for innovation which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Linux System Manager

**Location:** Boise, ID

**Pay Range:** $48.63 hourly

What's the Job?

+ Provide best-in-class computer support for engineering design teams.

+ Offer technical direction and escalation for technologies maintained within the Linux compute space.

+ Drive innovation and automation of computer solutions both internally and for our customers.

+ Provision systems, both physical and virtual, to meet business requirements.

+ Monitor overall health of the Unix/Linux environment with an emphasis on proactive discovery of potential issues.

What's Needed?

+ 3-5 years of experience in Linux system management.

+ Proficient in scripting languages and tools to automate tasks (Puppet, Python, shell, etc.).

+ Experience with configuration management and system enhancements.

+ Ability to train personnel on system usage and best practices.

+ Strong analytical skills to continually improve the Linux compute environment.
