Are you an organized and dependable professional seeking to work with a team to create the best dining experience for guests? We would love to have you join our amazing culinary team here at the East Peoria Embassy Suites as a Line Cook!
Responsibilities:
+ Ensure that the kitchen areas are properly stocked and sanitized;
+ Develop your knowledge and skills in the most effective food prep, stocking, and cleaning methods;
+ Carefully follow safety standards, maintain awareness of safety hazards, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks, and suspicious persons), and properly report as found;
+ Utilize and suggest the most efficient and effective culinary practices to ensure that guests have the best dining experience every time;
+ Work as a team to accomplish the goal of providing exceptional dining experiences for all guests;
+ Complete any and all other work as required.
What are we looking for?
+ Prior customer service and culinary experience
+ Currently have a Food Safety certificate or can complete training during initial 60 days
+ Ability to complete the following tasks:
+ Lift, pull and push up to 50lbs occasionally and 15lbs regularly
+ Bend and squat repeatedly
+ Walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
+ Flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
