Job Description​

_Saint Luke’s Physician Group is seeking a BC/BE geriatrician to join an experienced team located primarily at Saint Luke’s Perryman Primary Care-Plaza in Kansas City, MO._

About the position:

+ The candidate will join an experienced team of board certified geriatricians and APPs who are supported by excellent clinical staff

+ This position offers a fulfilling opportunity to provide optimal medical care to geriatric primary care patients in an ambulatory setting in addition to providing coverage at our nursing facility, Bishop Spencer Place

+ Option to provide community-based care, such as home visits, if interested

+ Bishop Spencer Place is a five-star upscale senior living community that offers all levels of senior living care (including Memory Care in 2025) on a convenient campus in close proximity of Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City

+ The geriatrician typically sees 14-18 patients per day; on-call responsibilities (telephone only) are shared among the group which provides a balanced lifestyle

+ Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is the primary teaching hospital for the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, offering candidates the opportunity to participate in academics if desired

+ Saint Luke’s Physician Group is a physician-led organization with ample leadership opportunities and as a non-profit organization, Saint Luke’s employees qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program

+ Fully integrated Epic EMR

+ Saint Luke’s has an extremely competitive compensation package that includes a guaranteed salary with productivity incentives in addition to excellent benefits such as medical, dental, vision & malpractice insurance, tax-deferred retirement plan with employer match, paid time off and a generous yearly CME allowance

+ The ideal candidate must be BC/BE in Internal or Family medicine, as well as Geriatrics, and must currently be enrolled in or have successfully completed a geriatric medicine fellowship

+ Candidate must be eligible for MO and KS state medical licenses
