At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. To get there, we're seeking a Senior Manager, ELM Project Management to work within the Central RME team.
This role requires deep expertise in leadership, strategic program management, and operational excellence, combined with the ability to build and mentor high-performing teams. The successful candidate will oversee multiple complex engineering projects across various regions, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure operational excellence.
Successful candidates will have extensive experience in engineering project/program management and people management, coupled with a strong track record of delivering complex technical projects at scale. They will be responsible for developing and implementing standardized project management methodologies, driving cross-functional collaboration, and aligning project goals with business objectives.
This role involves a travel requirement of 50-60% for site visits, team meetings, and stakeholder engagement.
Key job responsibilities
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of ELM Project Managers.
Oversee multiple complex engineering projects across various regions.
Develop and implement standardized project management methodologies and best practices.
Drive strategic planning and resource allocation across the portfolio.
Establish processes for risk management, quality control, and continuous improvement.
Partner with senior leadership to align project goals with business objectives.
Drive data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.

Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of manufacturing or manufacturing engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Experience leading new product introduction (NPI) teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement principles & techniques
- Experience in complex work environments, including (but not limited to robotics, automation, diagnostic and test equipment)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
