    Are you passionate about shaping the future of healthcare through user-centered research? Amazon Health is seeking a customer-obsessed Senior UX Researcher to join our team and uncover insights that will reimagine the future of healthcare delivery. You'll lead in-depth studies to deeply understand the needs, behaviors, and pain points of our customers, and translate those insights into opportunities that create transformative digital experiences.     Key job responsibilities

    * Lead comprehensive healthcare journey mapping and Jobs-to-be-Done research to understand clinician, provider and patient needs.

    * Design and execute mixed-method research studies that address sensitive healthcare topics, including in-clinic patient visits, central health record management, and telehealth experiences.

    * Inform segmentation studies and persona development specific to healthcare audiences.

    * Work with cross-functional teams to integrate insights into product development and roadmaps.

    * Synthesize findings from healthcare research workstreams to identify patterns and opportunities across the health experience.

    Basic Qualifications

    * MA/MS in experimental psychology, HCI, design, anthropology, or related discipline.

    * 7+ years of hands-on experience with all aspects of research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting) with demonstrated impact.

    * Experience with a variety of research methods (e.g., survey design, personas, remote testing, lab studies, diary studies, concept testing, benchmarking, and other methods).

    * Experience with synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data into compelling opportunities.

    Preferred Qualifications

    * Expertise in zero to one and generative research methodologies.

    * Strong understanding of healthcare privacy concerns and trust-building research methods, including the handling of protected health information (PHI).

    * Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.

    * The ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task in an agile environment.

    * Ability to meet ambitious deadlines and deliver high-quality work on schedule, including quickly turning around study plans and reports.

    * Demonstrated thought-leadership with a passion for translating data into design.

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $137,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $226,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
