    **Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS)** is seeking an **International Business Development Manager 3** to work at its **Northridge, California** location.

     

    This individual will lead capture-related activities for opportunities across a wide customer base, including the US Navy, US Air Force, US Army, DARPA, and other DoD communities. The successful candidate will work closely with all of Northrop Grumman’s (NG) functional organizations including NGDS’ leadership team and other industry and government partners.

     

    This position will require up to 50% travel.

     

    _Strong consideration for applicants that will work at the Northridge location. Will consider other locations for applicants that exceptionally meet qualifications._

    Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following** **:

    + Oversee opportunities for international tactical missiles sales.

    + Coordinate and organize opportunities across EUCOM and PACOM while interacting with key leadership across NG, the USN, the USAF, OSD, and international governments.

    + Work with Air Warfare Systems (AWS) Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile (AARGM) and the AARGM Extended Range (AARGM ER) International Program team to develop customer relationships with existing and new customers, including senior company and government agency leaders to ensure products and NG are well known and respected.

    + Support BD and program managers on various international pursuits; participate and lead customer relationship development (both international customer and US Government customer) to understand need, budget, timelines, and competitor capability.

    + Develop strategic roadmap, driving sustainable growth, and expansion of Advanced Weapons portfolio, making strategic adjustments as necessary to adapt to product updates and evolving customer interest.

    + Knowledge of/experience with DoD programming/budgeting/acquisition processes and Foreign Military Sales and US Government foreign release policies.

    + Develop and implement a Strategic Plan including multi-year sales and marketing strategic plans that identify key products and markets that will enable the company to achieve its goals of growth and profitability.

    + Assemble and execute new AWS and Advanced Programs (AP) operating unit business strategies in line with the current overarching business strategy.

    + Create, update, and maintain SalesForce records to support new business opportunity pursuits, and gate reviews.

    + Provide input to internal M&S, B&P and IRAD resource allocation decisions based on knowledge of future customer needs.

    + Ensure new business activity is carried out in accordance with government, customer, and NG policies, procedures, and processes.

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s Degree and 15 years of experience or master’s degree with 10 years of experience in the defense / aerospace business

    + Experienced Business Development professional with extensive prior experience in program management, customer management, capture, business development, or Foreign Military Sales.

    + Experience in the aerospace/defense industry, US Navy or Air Force service, or US Navy or Air Force civilian service.

    + Knowledge and experience with tactical missile opportunities with the Department of Defense.

    + Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance of which US citizenship is required.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Master’s degree and/or 20+ years of work experience in the defense/aerospace business, military, or national security enterprise.

    + Understanding of Northrop Grumman business priorities, strategy, capture resources, and key stakeholders.

    + Experience in SAF/IA, NIPO, DSCA or other Implementing Agencies working Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and/or foreign release policies within the US Government.

    + Extensive professional network with key USG stakeholders that support NG international growth objectives.

    + Prior experience with Weapon Systems products, including a demonstrated understanding of key systems, international competitors, and international trends in tactical missiles, land warfare, and munitions.

    + Experience leading and managing P&L resources and/or investment prioritization.

    + Proven track record in creating business growth across international markets.

    + Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.

     

    Salary Range: $170,000.00 - $255,000.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
