Description

We are looking for a Medical Front Desk Specialist to join our healthcare team in Ewing, New Jersey. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of front desk activities, providing exceptional service to patients and staff alike. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a background in healthcare systems.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression.

• Manage inbound calls, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments efficiently.

• Maintain patient records accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Process billing and insurance documentation with attention to detail.

• Assist in coordinating patient check-ins and check-outs to streamline office workflow.

• Update charts and graphs to reflect patient data and treatment progress.

• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure seamless communication and operations.

• Utilize software such as Allscripts, Cerner, Dentrix, and Eaglesoft to support administrative tasks.

• Handle sensitive patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Monitor office supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed.

Requirements • Proven experience working in a medical front desk role within the healthcare industry.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and medical software including Allscripts, Cerner, Dentrix, and Eaglesoft.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Familiarity with billing functions and insurance processes.

• Ability to manage patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.

• Customer service skills to provide a welcoming and detail-oriented experience.
