Description

Lana Funkhouser with Robert Half is working with a Boise-based organization seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations and month-end processes. This on-site role with some hybrid flexibility will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and general ledger accounts, processing payroll, and maintaining accurate financial records. You'll work closely with finance leadership and contribute to the integrity and efficiency of the organization’s financial processes.

What You’ll Be Doing:

+ Handle full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks

+ Reconcile bank and cash accounts, including prepaids and sub-ledgers

+ Support month-end close by posting journal entries and preparing financial reports

+ Process payroll and assist with vendor invoice management

+ Post and categorize credit card activity and maintain accurate P& L records

Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

+ Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, ideally in a Staff Accountant role

+ Strong proficiency with QuickBooks; Sage Intacct experience is a plus

+ Solid understanding of the general ledger and month-end close process

+ Experience handling payroll and vendor transactions

+ Advanced Excel skills and the ability to manage detailed financial data
