Link Solutions is seeking a Networking Administrator (Intermediate-Level) to join our team at White Sands Missile Range, NM.

The Networking Administrator (Intermediate-Level)will require an understanding of enterprise network architecture, Layer 2/3 switching, routing protocols, and network security standards. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, performance, and security of the network infrastructure. You will be a part of a diverse team supporting a globally distributed information systems, responsible for the analysis, administration, voice, video, and data communications networks.

Job Responsibilities:
+ Monitor and manage network performance, availability, and security.
+ Implement and enforce network security procedures and best practices to comply with DoD regulations.
+ Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network-related software and hardware systems, including Layer 2/3 switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and encryption devices.
+ Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
+ Work with IP-based networking environments, including IPv4/IPv6 and IPSec VPNs.
+ Maintain knowledge of and apply standards related to 802.1x, 802.11, MAC bridging, traffic management, and data encryption.
+ Evaluate, develop, and sustain telecommunications infrastructure and ensure conformance with organizational IT policies and objectives.
+ Train users on basic network operations and escalate advanced issues to senior personnel when necessary.

+ Must have an active DoD Top Secret Clearance
+ Must have a BA/BS Degree or an AA in computer science or information technology.
+ Five (5+) years of relevant experience working in IT enterprise network engineering.
+ IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).
+ Proven leadership in managing complex network environments, including DoD networks.
+ Advanced knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), security standards (802.1X, 802.11, MAC bridging), and media access control systems.
+ Demonstrated experience in network segmentation, traffic management, and secure network architecture design.
+ In-depth knowledge of network tools, monitoring platforms, and documentation best practices.
+ Ability to plan and implement large-scale network configurations and upgrades while minimizing downtime.
Preferred:
+ Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v4 certification
+ Experience with incident management within the ServiceNow Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) platform.
+ Familiarity with NIST, STIG, RMF, and Federal Information Systems Controls.
+ Working knowledge of hardware configuration management tools and logistics tracking systems.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
+ Experience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures.
+ Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
+ A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
+ Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
+ Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
+ Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
