Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Tomball, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key accounting processes, ensuring financial accuracy, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our financial operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in reconciliations, general ledger management, and month-end closings.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.

• Conduct detailed balance sheet reconciliations and address any discrepancies promptly.

• Manage bank reconciliations, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and resolved.

• Maintain and oversee the general ledger, ensuring proper classification and recording of financial data.

• Create and post journal entries with precision, supporting the accuracy of financial statements.

• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all required tasks.

• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze and report on financial data effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience in account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entry preparation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions for financial analysis.

• Experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
