    Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Tonawanda, New York. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, where accuracy and efficiency are key to maintaining financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach to managing accounts and collections.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process and manage accounts receivable transactions with precision and attention to detail.

    • Reconcile account balances to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.

    • Handle billing operations, including generating invoices and verifying payment details.

    • Apply incoming payments to customer accounts while ensuring proper documentation.

    • Manage cash collections and monitor outstanding balances to minimize delays in payments.

    • Conduct commercial collections and communicate effectively with clients to address past-due accounts.

    • Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, and QuickBooks to streamline processes.

    • Prepare financial reports and maintain records in Microsoft Excel for analysis and review.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflows and financial accuracy.

    • Provide support in implementing improvements to accounts receivable processes. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related financial role.

    • Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, and QuickBooks.

    • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.

    • Knowledge of cash applications and account reconciliation processes.

    • Ability to handle commercial collections and communicate effectively with clients.

    • Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

    • Familiarity with manufacturing industry practices is a plus.

    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
