Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for numbers and a knack for building relationships? We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania on a long-term contract basis! In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining effective collections processes. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting and accounts receivable.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor accounts receivable processes, including aging reports and collections to ensure timely payments.

• Reconcile bank transactions and accounts to maintain accurate financial records.

• Perform detailed bad debt analysis to support financial decision-making and risk management.

• Handle daily cash activities, including deposits, application, and tracking.

• Oversee billing functions to guarantee accuracy and compliance with policies.

• Generate and analyze financial reports related to accounts receivable and cash flow.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes.

• Maintain accurate records of collections efforts and communicate with clients to address outstanding balances.

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies in all financial operations.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role.

• Proficiency in managing aging reports, collections, and financial reconciliations.

• Strong understanding of billing processes and cash handling procedures.

• Experience with bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.

• Ability to analyze bad debt and provide actionable insights.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Familiarity with accounting software and tools.

• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
