Description

Our client, a highly respected organization in Oak Ridge, TN, is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Procurement Administrator to join their team full-time with a Hybrid option, 3 days in office, 2 days remote. This pivotal role is responsible for managing the complete life cycle of contracts involving customers, subcontractors, and suppliers within a federal government contracting environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in procurement, contract negotiations, DCAA compliance, and related functions while supporting internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the life cycle of procurement contracts, including subcontractors, suppliers, and customers.

Develop and negotiate contract terms, conditions, adjustments, modifications, and change orders in compliance with federal government standards.

Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure contracts meet organizational and regulatory requirements.

Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for contracts, modifications, and other agreements.

Review contracts for accuracy and compliance with federal government regulations, including DCAA guidelines.

Identify risks and propose adjustments or mitigations to ensure contractual obligations are met effectively.

Support procurement functions by building relationships with suppliers and negotiating favorable terms.

Monitor contract performance and address any issues related to contract execution, amendments, and renewals.

Provide expertise in managing large-scale procurement initiatives and ensure compliance with government contracting standards.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, contract management, supply chain, or related field.

Extensive experience in contract procurement and administration in a federal government contracting environment.

Strong knowledge of DCAA guidelines and federal compliance regulations is highly preferred.

Excellent negotiation skills with a proven ability to manage contract terms, adjustments, and modifications.

Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

Direct experience with federal government procurement processes and compliance standards.

Advanced knowledge of procurement software or ERP systems.

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
