Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team in Pleasant Valley, Missouri. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing key financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing processes. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with financial data.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.

• Oversee accounts receivable operations, including preparing and sending invoices and tracking incoming payments.

• Perform job costing activities to allocate expenses correctly and support financial reporting.

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports under the guidance of the accountant.

• Record vendor payments and receipts into accounting software with precision and attention to detail.

• Maintain organized records of all financial transactions for auditing and reference purposes.

• Handle invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies promptly.

• Utilize accounting tools such as QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle to streamline financial workflows.

• Support financial data entry and reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate bookkeeping.

• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting procedures and implement best practices. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and related accounting functions.

• Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial records.

• Familiarity with job costing and invoice processing.

• Solid organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and vendors.

• Ability to adapt to new systems and processes as needed.
