Sales Representative – Building Materials
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your business-to-business (B2B) or business-to-consumer (B2C) sales experience (3-5 years), ideally in commercial and residential building materials sales, to drive company success. You will be responsible for composing professional emails with accuracy, demonstrating an open, friendly, and professional demeanor when engaging with customers, and maintaining excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships. Key responsibilities include performing cost-up pricing to achieve desired profit margins, navigating construction documents confidently, and coordinating multi-step projects involving subcontractors. The role demands a self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments and can learn and analyze varied product information while working collaboratively with coworkers. Strong project management and estimation experience, coupled with the ability to remain fully effective under pressure with conflicting priorities, is essential to success. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales support or related role.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and familiarity with ERP solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Configure Price Quote (CPQ) tools.
• Experience with financial services software, such as ADP.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of billing functions and auditing processes.
