Description We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis in New York, NY. This role is ideal for an individual with strong attention to detail and experience in corporate tax, international tax provisions, and foreign subsidiaries. The position requires working onsite four days a week and offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate on complex tax matters.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the preparation and review of corporate tax returns, including calculations for provisions and global intangible low-taxed income (GILTI).
• Manage tax compliance and reporting for U.S. entities with foreign subsidiaries.
• Perform detailed calculations for foreign tax credits and other international tax matters.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely tax filings.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze and model tax data efficiently.
• Leverage accounting software systems such as CCH ProSystem Fx and CaseWare to streamline tax processes.
• Provide guidance on annual income tax provisions and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Assist in auditing and reviewing tax-related documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Support the Director of U.S. Tax during leave periods by maintaining continuity in tax operations.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Requirements • Proven experience in corporate tax with a focus on international tax provisions and foreign subsidiaries.
• Strong knowledge of global intangible low-taxed income (GILTI) and foreign tax credits.
• Expertise in advanced Excel functionalities for data analysis and modeling.
• Familiarity with accounting software systems such as CCH ProSystem Fx, CaseWare, and ADP Financial Services.
• Solid understanding of annual income tax provisions and compliance processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
