Revenue Analyst – Construction Focus

As a Revenue Analyst, you’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy while working closely across all branches of this growing organization:
+ Revenue Recognition: Maintain and update project-based percentage-of-completion accounting on a monthly basis.
+ Journal Entries: Prepare, verify, allocate, and post entries in accordance with GAAP standards to ensure precise financial records.
+ Operational Analysis: Identify trends and perform accounting analysis of monthly revenue, evaluating projects on a case-by-case basis.
+ Systems Expert: Oversee and maintain key revenue systems, while proactively improving their utility.
+ Support Branches: Assist field teams with project setup, budget validation, purchase orders, and performance tracking in the systems.
+ Acquisition Integration: Aid in setting up newly acquired company data within the revenue platforms.
+ Reporting: Leverage PowerBI to generate custom performance reports for the executive team.
Requirements
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required.
+ Experience: Minimum of 3 years of accounting expertise with a focus on construction project accounting or percentage-of-completion methods.
+ Hands-on experience with project accounting systems, or similar project management software.
+ Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
+ An ability to navigate and optimize accounting technology platforms to drive efficiencies.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, to manage data processes effectively.
