Description

We are looking for a Spanish speaking Attorney to join our REMOTE team in California. In this role, you will have the opportunity to represent clients in personal injury and wrongful death cases. This position offers a dynamic blend of courtroom advocacy, case management, and client advisory, with opportunities to work remotely or in a hybrid format. This role can sit anywhere in California and candidates must have Spanish proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in personal injury and wrongful death cases related to asbestos and silica exposure.

• Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, briefs, and case filings.

• Conduct and defend depositions while preparing witnesses and gathering evidence.

• Attend court hearings and advocate for clients in various legal proceedings.

• Manage case files effectively using document and case management software.

• Provide expert legal advice to clients throughout the litigation process.

• Collaborate with colleagues and utilize legal research tools to strengthen case strategies.

• Ensure compliance with legal standards and deadlines in all aspects of litigation.

• Leverage Spanish language skills to communicate with clients and translate legal documents when necessary.

• Adapt responsibilities as experience and case complexity grow.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law in California.

• Minimum of one year of civil litigation experience, preferably in plaintiff side cases.

• Proficiency in case management and document management software.

• Strong skills in drafting legal documents and conducting depositions.

• Ability to manage a demanding workload, including 55+ hours weekly.

• Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred for client communication and document translation.

• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and other legal tools.

• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
