Description We are looking for a dynamic Marketing & Donor Relations Specialist to join our team in Houston, Texas. This Contract to Permanent position offers an opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team to enhance donor relationships, develop strategic partnerships, and increase non-dues revenue for our organization. As part of a small and flexible team, you will play a key role in driving community engagement, strategic initiatives, and marketing strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, business partners, and strategic collaborators to foster long-term engagement.

• Develop innovative partnership packages and marketing campaigns to attract new business collaborators and diversify revenue streams.

• Collaborate with various department directors to align marketing efforts with organizational goals and events.

• Analyze current partnership benefits and recommend adjustments to maximize impact and value.

• Explore opportunities to generate revenue through advertising in publications, digital newsletters, and the organizational website.

• Coordinate donor cultivation efforts, including major gift donor strategies, to enhance community relationships.

• Plan, market, and execute successful fundraising events such as golf tournaments and annual dinners.

• Utilize CRM systems to track donor interactions and partnership activities for consistent communication and reporting.

• Create compelling marketing materials using tools like Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva to support campaigns and initiatives.

• Provide strategic insights on potential community partnerships and alliances to expand organizational outreach. Requirements • At least 3 years of experience in marketing, donor relations, or a related field.

• Proficiency in CRM software and donor management systems for tracking and reporting.

• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva for developing marketing materials.

• Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships with major donors and corporate sponsors.

• Experience in planning and managing marketing events and community engagement activities.

• Knowledge of donor communication strategies and techniques to enhance stakeholder relationships.

• Familiarity with strategic partnerships and alliances to drive organizational growth.

• Background in the legal or law industry is a plus, but not required. Innovation starts with people.®
