Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in Westborough, Massachusetts, and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical accounting processes while collaborating with a dynamic team. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Manage fixed asset accounting, including tracking, reporting, and reconciliation.

• Support the budgeting and forecasting process by analyzing financial data and providing actionable insights.

• Oversee month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all tasks.

• Perform account reconciliations, including balance sheet and general ledger accounts.

• Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless financial reporting and documentation.

• Maintain and improve processes related to financial reporting and internal controls.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze data and create detailed financial reports. Requirements • Proven experience in account reconciliation and balance sheet management.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entry preparation.

• Proficiency in month-end close processes and financial reporting.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting functions.

• Solid understanding of fixed asset accounting principles.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
