Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis for three months. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and previous data entry experience, even at an entry-level. Based in Santa Barbara, California, this role requires a proactive individual who can ensure accurate and efficient handling of data and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Enter and maintain accurate data in organizational systems, ensuring all information is correctly recorded.

• Prepare and send invoices, verifying their accuracy before distribution.

• Organize and manage paperwork, ensuring all required documents are properly filed and accessible.

• Support backend office operations by completing assigned administrative tasks.

• Perform regular system updates and ensure database organization.

• Collaborate with team members to address any immediate needs or issues.

• Conduct follow-up communications to ensure deadlines and requirements are met.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to create, edit, and maintain files.

• Scan, type, and perform calculations as needed to support office operations.

• Engage in frequent check-ins to align with team objectives and contribute to a cohesive work environment. Requirements • Proven experience in data entry, with proficiency in 10-key typing.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word for document and data management.

• Ability to handle email correspondence professionally and efficiently.

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.

• Experience with scanning, typing, and performing basic calculations.

• Capability to manage and organize files systematically.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
