Description
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Tax Senior to join our team in Woodinville, Washington. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality tax preparation and advisory services. This position is ideal for someone focused on precision and seeking to grow their expertise in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review a wide range of tax returns, including individual, corporate, partnership, and trust filings.
• Conduct in-depth tax research and offer strategic advice on tax planning and compliance matters.
• Collaborate with clients to collect necessary financial information and resolve any tax-related inquiries.
• Manage federal and state tax correspondence, including audits and other communications.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced staff and interns to support their growth.
• Monitor changes in federal, state, and local tax regulations to ensure compliance and provide timely updates.
• Identify opportunities for improving processes and enhancing operational efficiency within the firm.
• Develop strategies to help clients optimize their tax positions and meet their financial goals.
The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $105,000.

Requirements • Proven experience in tax preparation and review, including individual, corporate, partnership, and trust returns.
• Proficiency with accounting software systems such as CaseWare, CCH ProSystem Fx, and CCH IntelliConnect.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements at the federal, state, and local levels.
• Ability to conduct thorough tax research and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Experience mentoring less experienced staff and contributing to a collaborative work environment.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with process improvement initiatives and strategies for enhancing efficiency.
