    Description We are looking for a skilled Ruby Developer to join our team in Garland, Texas, for a long-term contract opportunity. In this role, you will work on modernizing and enhancing web applications by leveraging Ruby on Rails, front-end frameworks, and API development. This position offers the chance to collaborate in a fast-paced environment while contributing to innovative solutions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using Ruby on Rails, ensuring scalability and performance.

    • Build and consume RESTful APIs, including third-party integrations and internal API development.

    • Implement front-end solutions using frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue, shifting to client-side rendering from server-side rendering.

    • Design and execute unit tests with RSpec to ensure functionality and reliability.

    • Collaborate with QA teams to deploy modular builds and maintain high-quality standards.

    • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to support frequent production deployments.

    • Manage containerized workflows using Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.

    • Monitor application performance using tools like New Relic and AWS CloudWatch.

    • Work with WebSocket protocols to enable real-time communication features.

    • Participate in ongoing upgrades of the Rails framework, ensuring compatibility with latest versions. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Ruby on Rails development.

    • Proficiency in RESTful API design and implementation for both client and server-side.

    • Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue.

    • Strong understanding of RSpec testing framework and modular testing principles.

    • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools for streamlined deployment processes.

    • Experience with Docker for containerized applications and Terraform for infrastructure management.

    • Knowledge of cloud monitoring tools such as New Relic and AWS CloudWatch.
