Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a vital role in assisting veterans by addressing their inquiries, processing membership renewals, and ensuring seamless data entry. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a high-volume call environment.
Responsibilities:
• Handle incoming calls with professionalism, addressing up to 150 inquiries per day during peak periods.
• Assist veterans with membership renewals and provide clear, accurate answers to their questions.
• Perform efficient and accurate data entry to document conversations and transactions.
• Utilize Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel to maintain and update records as needed.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and resolve concerns.
• Follow established protocols and procedures to manage high call volumes effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Uphold confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive information. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service or call center environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and basic office software.
• Strong data entry skills, including numeric entry, with high accuracy.
• Ability to manage high call volumes efficiently while maintaining quality service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
