Description We are looking for a skilled Medical Billing Specialist to join our team in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. As part of this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing healthcare billing operations and ensuring accurate claims processing. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in medical billing systems and technologies while working in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process medical claims efficiently using systems such as Allscripts and Cerner Technologies.

• Utilize Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) tools to ensure seamless data communication and integration.

• Manage accounts receivable operations, including follow-ups and appeals for denied claims.

• Handle billing functions with precision, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Administer claims and coordinate benefits to optimize reimbursement processes.

• Operate electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient and billing information.

• Work with Epaces to facilitate Medicaid and other insurance-related transactions.

• Analyze and resolve discrepancies in billing and claims data.

• Collaborate with team members to improve billing workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Requirements • Proficiency in medical billing software such as Allscripts and Cerner Technologies.

• Experience with Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) for effective data management.

• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, including appeals and follow-ups.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and their application in billing operations.

• Understanding of Medicaid transactions, including Epaces.

• Ability to administer claims and benefits with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Solid analytical skills to identify and resolve billing discrepancies.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities to collaborate effectively with team members.
