Description We are looking for a dedicated Sales Assistant to join our team in Watsonville, California. In this role, you will support key sales operations and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers alike. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage market reporting to ensure accurate and timely data delivery.

• Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional sales teams to streamline operations.

• Maintain and manage customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any inquiries.

• Prepare specialized reports as requested by sales management.

• Provide backup support for trouble analyst functions, ensuring seamless operations.

• Input and update order information into the company database accurately.

• Assist in cross-training initiatives to enhance team capabilities.

• Participate in occasional Saturday shifts and work on holidays as required.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support overall sales objectives. Requirements • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the agriculture or produce distribution industry.

• Familiarity with berry distribution is highly preferred, though knowledge of other produce is acceptable.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and CRM systems.

• Ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish is preferred.

• Associate degree in accounting or a related field is desirable.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills in an office environment.

• Attention to detail and ability to handle data processing tasks effectively.
