    Summary You will serve as a General Supply Specialist in the Naval Education and Training Command of NAVAL AVIATION SCHOOLS COMMAND. Responsibilities You will conduct formal and informal inventory of equipment and items. You will serve as warranty controller for all property items, including instructional support equipment. You will create, enter, maintain, retrieve, and distribute data and information through documents, email and presentations. You will perform one or more phases of inventory management including requirements determination, acquisition, local purchase, status tracking, distribution, accountability, financial, issue, retention, and disposal. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Requisitioning, receiving, issuing, and disposing of supplies and equipment; 2) Preparing purchase and/or work requests to provide funding for goods and services; 3) Monitoring purchase requests to ensure supplies and services are received and invoices are verified for accurate accountability of items purchased; and 4) Performing supply management functions to analyze and resolve difficult supply issues. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
