Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Comptroller Department of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR. Responsibilities You will perform account maintenance and accounting support in Accounts Payable / Cost Accounting work requiring an in-depth understanding of accounting systems, policies, and procedures. You will advise others on the interpretation of laws, regulations, policies, or guidelines related to government budgets or finances. You will use software capabilities (e.g., Excel, Access, or similar software) to process, review, and report on financial data. You will analyze and resolve issues within financial processes, controls, or information. You will advise customers regarding financial guidance, policy, and procedures. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing automated financial management systems to formulate budget estimates and report obligations and expenditures; analyzing transactional data for identification of trends; and developing recommendations for improved financial controls or budgetary processes.
