POSITION SUMMARY:
Perform routine duties to process merchandise orders for RX, PSE and Control items for stores from **pick tickets, Pick to Light (PTL).**
QUALIFICATIONS (COMPETENCIES):
Skills:
+ Ability to read, write and count accurately.
+ Good written and verbal communication skills.
+ Must pass D.E.A. and State background check as required.
+ _Physical Demands_ : This position has a frequent-medium heavy lifting requirement of 1 – 20 lbs, 34-66% of time. Occasional very heavy lifting requirement of up to 75 lbs, 0-33% of time. Other physical activities include constant bending/reaching/stooping, (67-100%). Constant walking/standing climbing (67-100%).
+ Work Environment: Warehouse environment, which includes seasonal temperature changes, rolling equipment, and conveyors.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Pick merchandise into totes.
+ Place broken or dirty lids/totes in designated areas.
+ Wrap bottles as needed to avoiding spillage and damage. Pack totes properly. Avoid overloading totes with excessive weight and volume.
+ **Complete mark out sheet or follow “short” procedure when product is not available for picking.**
+ **Seal tote with seals or auto strap.**
+ Place merchandise from pallets on stocking cart and cut cases accordingly with a safety razor knife.
+ Rotate stock by expiration date code (first in, first out method) where applicable to ensure freshness. Remove outdated merchandise.
+ Perform other duties as required by Supervision/Management.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Discard all cardboard and paper into trash conveyor while placing non-paper material (plastic, tape, etc) in trash bags.
+ Fill out-of-stocks on pick line and forward information to IC for research.
+ Remove empty pallets from stocking area.
+ Move from zone, line, area and department as required.
+ Clean and sweep work area. Empty full trash bags and receptacles.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
+ _Physical demands:_ This position has a lifting requirement of over 50 lbs for 0% to 33% of the time. Other physical activities include bending/reaching/stooping 33% to 67% of the time and walking/standing/climbing 0% to 33% of the time.
+ _Work environments:_ Warehouse environment, which includes seasonal temperature changes, rolling equipment, and conveyors.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$16.00 - $23.56
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
