Calibre is a winning product, and we are looking for a highly-motivated, creative, and energetic individual to join Calibre Interfaces team as Product Engineer.
The Calibre nmPlatform integrates with all major custom design tools, place and route systems, and a wide range of specialty design tools. Calibre Interfaces bring the power of Calibre sign-off engines to designers throughout the design flow, enabling early detection and correction of manufacturing issues. The Calibre DESIGNrev provide fast, flexible, easy-to-use layout viewing capabilities that minimize your turnaround time. The Product Engineer is essential to connecting our talented engineering team with the needs of customers, as well as deploying and supporting those solutions to the extended customer base.
Responsibilities Include:
Product Development
+ Collaborate with customer design and CAD teams to understand design workflows and align on technical requirements.
+ Analyze existing systems and workflows to identify gaps and emerging trends, particularly in physical design and verification.
+ Work closely with engineering, global support, and customers to conceptualize and deliver innovative features and solutions leveraging the Calibre platform.
+ Define and prioritize product requirements, release content, and schedules for Calibre Interfaces.
+ Support quarterly release planning by collaborating with engineering, QA, documentation, and field teams to help facilitate smooth development, testing, and deployment of new features.
+ Develop comprehensive test cases to support engineering and QA in feature implementation and validation.
Product Support
+ Create and distribute marketing collateral to drive product awareness, sales, and customer adoption.
+ Lead technical presentations, product demonstrations, evaluations, and competitive benchmarks.
+ Document workflows, best practices, and user guides to support internal teams and end users.
Job Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
+ Minimum of 8 years of experience in IC design, either as a CAD or Design Engineer, or working with EDA tools.
+ Strong expertise in creating Place & Route test cases and proficiency with leading Place & Route tools.
+ Solid understanding of the physical design and verification flow from RTL to GDS.
+ Skilled in scripting for complex physical design or verification flows using TCL, Perl, or Python.
+ Experience with AI/ML projects; background in statistical analysis is a plus.
+ Proven ability to collaborate with international, cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.
+ Demonstrated technical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple concurrent projects.
+ Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across various customer levels.
+ Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills; capable of influencing both R&D and management teams.
+ Willingness to travel up to 25%, including internationally.

The salary range for this position is $126,100 to $227,000 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
