    Feldco, the Midwest’s leader in home renewal solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our Accounting Department in our Rosemont, IL office. If you have at least 2 years of accounts payable experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment — we want to hear from you!

    About the Role:

    As an Accounting Assistant, you will manage the full accounts payable process, assist with accounts receivable, and support broader financial operations. You’ll be handling high volumes of transactions and working extensively with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and general ledger systems is a strong plus.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Review and process vendor and supplier invoices for payment

    + Enter and code invoices in Microsoft Dynamics GP accounting system

    + Execute weekly disbursements via check, ACH, and credit card

    + Handle customer invoicing, receipts, credit memos, and refunds

    + Record daily deposits and reconcile bank accounts

    + Process and audit employee reimbursements and customer referrals

    + Register customer warranties and manage financing transactions

    + Support ad-hoc projects within the Accounting and Finance team

    + Contribute to process improvement efforts and cross-department communication

    What We’re Looking For:

    + 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounts payable experience

    + Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills

    + Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP (preferred)

    + Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks

    + Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills
