    Adecco is assisting a local client in the Sunrise area looking for a Banking Contact Center Representative to work a long-term possible temp to perm job. The Banking Contact Center representative provides outstanding service to members by building relationships between the member and the Credit Union. They consistently promote Credit Union products and services as it pertains to the member’s needs. Provides outstanding service to members by opening new accounts and processing loans. They complete transactions, process debit card applications, respond to email and phone requests and balances his/her drawer daily. Pay is $17-$20 per hour, depending on experience, and shift schedule is 9am-4:30pm Mon-Thu, 9am-6pm Fri and 9am-1pm Sat. You must be available to work ONSITE in the Sunrise, FL area.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Answer all incoming calls to the Credit Union and respond to voicemails and emails from members. Handle challenging member issues by providing tactful and professional recommendations and direct calls to proper departments and personnel.

    2. Educate members as to the technology and systems available to them as a member of the Credit Union, including any policies and procedures.

    3. Process and close loans received by phone, mail, fax, or internet in compliance with lending policies and procedures.

    4. Open all new accounts with the current online new account provider.

    5. Process basic maintenance requests on members accounts (i.e.: address changes, name changes, beneficiary changes, etc.)

    6. Process IRAs.

    7. Write and send correspondence (as needed) to members and fellow associates by regular mail or by email.

    8. Balance processed work at the end of the day

    9. Adhere to the credit union’s BSA/AML/OFAC compliance program

    10. Conduct research for members and other branches.

    11. Scan and file membership documents.

    12. Up sell Credit Union products and services through daily member contact in order to achieve established goals.

    13. Process returned statements with bad addresses.

    14. Help with the risk assessment for the debit cards which includes compromised cards, Tran blocker, lost/stolen reports, and case tracker.

    15. Delete inactive home banking and bill pay users.

    16. Reset and set up users for Funds Transfer, external transfers, eStatements and Online Banking.

    17. Process Subpoenas and gather necessary documentation.

    18. Process and post incoming mail.

    19. Other duties as assigned.

    Education and/or Experience:

    Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school or one year of prior banking experience.

    Preferred Experience:

    Previous banking and/or credit union experience as a Teller or Customer/Member Service Representative. Previous Contact Center experience. Has met sales goals in retail or banking environment.

    Computer Skills:

    Computer literate (in basic computer skills)

     

    Microsoft Word and Excel “a plus”

     

    Outlook “a plus”

    Other Qualifications:

    1. Good organizational skills.

    1. Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.

    3. Team player.

    4. Professional, flexible, and enthusiastic.

    1. Pleasant and neat appearance.

    2. Bilingual (Eng/Spn) is not necessary but is a plus.

     

    Pay $17-$20 per hour, depending on experience. Work schedule: 9am-4:30pm, Mon-Thur, 9am-6pm, Fri and 9am-1pm on Sat.
