Now Hiring: Material Handler – 2nd Shift (Temp, $** **18.50/hr)

• _Location: Manufacturing Facility | Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Mon–Fri)_

• _Start Date: 6/16/2025_

Are you ready to get moving in your career? We’re seeking a reliable and motivated **Material Handler** to join our team on **2nd shift** . This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment with strong teamwork and growth potential.

• What You’ll Be Doing:

+ Load, unload, and move materials by hand or forklift within the facility

+ Read work orders or follow verbal instructions to determine materials to be moved

+ Safely strap, brace, or pad materials during vehicle loading to prevent damage

+ Maintain inventory records by counting, weighing, and documenting materials

+ Assemble crates/boxes and attach proper labels or identifying tags

+ Clean up work areas, handle spills, and maintain a safe workspace

+ Operate lift trucks, hand trucks, hoists, and electric carts

• What We’re Looking For:

+ High school diploma or **1–3 years of relevant experience**

+ Previous **forklift certification and experience is required**

+ Basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills (ERP systems experience a plus)

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting

+ A team player who enjoys problem-solving and staying organized

• Physical Requirements:

+ Regularly stand, walk, lift (up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally)

+ Occasional climbing, stooping, or kneeling

+ Must be comfortable working in a production environment around machines and forklifts

+ Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required

• Pay & Schedule:

+ **Pay Rate:** $ 18.50/hour

+ **Shift:** 2nd shift | Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

+ **Meal Break:** 8:00 PM – 8:30 PM

+ **Type:** Full-time

**Pay Details:** $18.50 per hour
