    Job Description:

    **Join our team!** We're seeking a compassionate and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to provide comprehensive care to patients with colorectal conditions.

    Role:

    + Clinic-based with some inpatient responsibilities.

    + Collaborate with colorectal surgeons and multidisciplinary teams.

    + Provide high-quality, patient-centered care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Patient assessments for colorectal issues (IBD, cancer, hemorrhoids, etc.).

    + Pre- and post-operative care (wound assessments, ostomy education).

    + Develop and implement treatment plans.

    + Order and interpret diagnostic tests.

    + Evaluate and treat anorectal complaints (hemorrhoidal banding, abscess drainage, etc.).

    + Evaluate patients with uncomplicated diverticulitis.

    + Patient education on diagnoses, treatments, and recovery.

    + Coordinate referrals (GI, oncology, wound care).

    + Inpatient consultation/management.

    + Independent patient panel and wound care.

    + Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EPIC.

    + Participate in quality improvement and research.

    Qualifications:

    + Graduate of a Master’s in Nursing program or a Physician Assistant program

    + Certification and current NP or PA license to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

    + DEA

    + MCSR

    Preferred:

    + 2+ years APP experience (surgical/colorectal preferred).

    + Excellent communication & critical thinking skills.

    + Ability to work independently and in a team.

    + Ostomy care, wound management, and oncology knowledge.

    + EPIC EMR familiarity.
