    Position Summary:

    Reporting to the Head of Internal Consulting for Global Product Development and Supply, this position will be responsible for working with teams across GPS to shape, develop, and accelerate development of strategy and the ultimate execution of strategic priorities that will advance and grow the business. The role will contribute to the development of the GPS strategic plans, co-lead with the business the significant projects related to strategic priorities, provide insight into external signals that could impact business strategic direction or growth, and ensure value delivery for our most strategic projects.

    Role & Responsibilities:

    + Partner with the Head of Internal Consulting as a key thought partner to develop a portfolio of key strategic priorities and/or co-lead with the business complex, top strategic priorities for GPS; create connectivity and promote disruptive thinking.

    + Accountable for a portfolio of projects and/or the leadership of complex, top strategic priorities for GPS; provide insight and direction for key strategic levers into each project. May need to lead programs/projects from notion through to validation of a hypothesis and then on to an ultimate plan.

    + Using information from Business Intelligence, provide perspective on the potential impact of external market signals that could impact business growth and performance.

    + Direct small project and cross-functional teams of colleagues with varying levels of experience, coaching and developing them to build capability and performance and deliver on measurable business value outcomes.

    + Independently brainstorm and analyze solutions to problems and develop initial hypotheses, frameworks, and methodologies.

    + Partner with internal stakeholders to drive analysis of complex sets of data and business processes.

    + Develop project communications to drive engagement of key stakeholders and adoption of recommendations and solutions.

    + Create an engaging and inclusive work environment where team members are encouraged to collaborate and develop.

    Experience & Qualifications:

    + MBA or advanced degree in science or business.

    + 6-10 years of industry-related experience in pharma or life sciences, including experience in strategy development and/or leading strategic initiatives (can be through a consulting firm).

    + Significant experience at Strategy consulting firm strongly preferred (McK, BCG, Bain, etc)

    + Demonstrated exceptional ability to influence key stakeholders without direct authority.

    + Expert at driving change in the organization to support adoption.

    + Enthusiasm and energy to help transform organizations, with tenacity/ perseverance for leading change.

    + Effectively translates market dynamics and trends in Global biopharmaceuticals into strategic implications for business units.

    + Demonstrated masterful project leadership, managing teams of cross-functional colleagues, and strong track record of value delivery.

    + Effectively leverages complex information and distills into a framework that helps facilitate decision making.

    + Expert communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.

     

    The starting compensation for this job based in Massachusetts or Washington state is a range from $ 247,400 - $ 299,800 , plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).

     

    The starting compensation for this job based in New Jersey is a range from $ 224,910 - $ 272,500, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).

     

    The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
