    The selected Strategic Sourcing Specialist II candidate will join the Mechanical Assembly team in the Government Center of Excellence, supporting the end-to-end cycle of FAR15 proposals and subcontracts for key Honeywell programs. Starting with proposals, fulfillment of the sales order, and ending with negotiating long-term agreements with suppliers. The Strategic Sourcing Specialist II will help drive the completion of compliant FAR15 packages and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment with program requirements.

     

    Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Execute FAR15 subcontracts IAW FAR, DFARS and applicable regulations.

    + Support negotiations (price, terms & conditions)

    + Manage key program suppliers.

    + Build supplier strategies to enable the best overall value to Honeywell

    COMPENSATION:

    + The Salary range for this position is $67K - $95K. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

     

    The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

     
     

    + Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + A minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, L&C, Business, or Finance

    + US Person due to contractual requirements

    WE VALUE

    + Bachelor's Degree

    + DoD procurement subcontracting experience (FAR15)

    + Detailed understanding of DoD Procurement Life Cycle

    + Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations

    + Strong negotiation skills and processes

    + Supply chain experience

    + Procurement experience within defense, aerospace, or similar industry

    + Experience managing subcontracts FFP, CP, CPIF, etc.

    + Experience with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD)

    + Ability to understand and negotiate terms and conditions
