    Connect with us and support the world's most advanced avionics within the Electronic Solutions Platform Organization where we have an immediate need for a top-performing Lead Eng Tech II to join our elite team that will deliver on the hardware electronics that Aerospace runs on.

     

    We are seeking someone who brings the right experience to support avionics-based products within the Anthem / Thunderbolt Team. This position is in Phoenix Deer Valley, Arizona.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Assembly, modification, repair of the following: Cable Harnesses; Circuit Cards including: delicate and micro-electronics; Break-out Boxes / Test Adapters; Power Controllers; Full-up Test Stations / Racks; EMI Fixtures; Micro-Electronics

    + Support Avionics Products and work with the Engineering teams to build lab fixtures / cables, run engineering lab tests, debug hardware problems, execute Qualification tests and assist with parts procurement as needed.

    + Work directly with engineering with build recommendations and offer problem solving solutions

    The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

     

    **US PERSONS REQUIREMENTS** : Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + 7 years minimum of Electronics technician experience

    + Proficient in the use of oscilloscopes and other test equipment commonly used to test and troubleshoot hardware circuits and products.

    + Must be US Person due to contractual requirements

    WE VALUE

    + Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and prints

    + Ability to read and understand mechanical schematics and prints

    + Knowledge and use of crimping tools, soldering iron, cutters / strippers, mechanical tools, volt-meter, continuity testers, label maker, etc.

    + Experience building / fabricating Test Equipment assemblies

    + Experience working on blue-label products

    + Experience with electronic troubleshooting and repair

    + Familiar with IPC standards and/or IPC certified

    + Familiar with SAP

    + Computer savvy

    + Able to bend, stoop, lift up to 35 lbs. (single carry)

    + Possess agility to work in the labs with misc. Test Equipment
