Pharmacist Resident – Research Pharmacy department

Work hours: Full Time for 40 hrs/week. Day Shift Monday through Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm

Here’s What You Need
+ Other Pharm.D. is required
+ 1 Year experience as ASHP accredited Pharmacist Resident upon hire is required
+ PHAR - Pharmacist Upon Hire is required And
+ Other Board Certified Clinical Pharmacy Specialist Upon Hire is preferred
+ Must be computer literate, proficient in typing, able to perform basic math calculations, able to read, speak, and communicate effectively in English, directly, or over the telephone, with all employees and customers.
What You Will Do
+ This position is responsible for role modeling teamwork and advancing employee partnership through servant leadership, including actively recognizing excellence and improvement from co-workers to mentor growth and development, in addition to holding ones self and others.
+ In addition the Specialty Pharmacist Resident will serve as the program's CHIEF resident and assist the PGY1 Program Director in coordinating efforts and supervisory oversight as delegated.
+ This position is responsible for the provision of optimal pharmaceutical care through participation in clinical services and oversight of distribution services and technologies.
+ Completes 512 hours staffing pharmacist shifts throughout the PGY2 (specialty residency) year.
+ This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of ones own work and supporting the departments quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, programs and standards.
