Job Title: Electrical Project Manager
Job Description
As an Electrical Project Manager, you will serve as an Owner's Representative overseeing the work of electrical contractors on a 5kV Switchgear Installation project. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that all work is completed in accordance with quality and safety standards, within scope, and on schedule. This is a pivotal role in a $20M project involving connection to utility systems and a 480v substation.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee electrical contractor's work for the 5kV Switchgear Installation project.
+ Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
+ Monitor project scope and schedule adherence.
+ Provide coverage during planned outages.
+ Work closely with the project management team and outsourced project management group.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in electrical construction and installation.
+ Proficiency in 5kV switchgear installation.
+ Knowledge of 480v substations.
+ Quality assurance and oversight capabilities.
+ Valid TWIC card.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in switchgear and substation environments.
+ Background in plant construction and capex projects.
Work Environment
The role is based in an aging sugar processing facility, within a plant construction setting. You will be part of an existing project management team, working closely with an outsourced project management group and overseeing the CCC Group contractor. The standard workweek is 40 hours, with additional coverage required during planned outages.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
